Register for: Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys, Connected Histories.

This is a scholar-led reading and discussion series funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in cooperation with the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office.

Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys, Connected Histories is a five-part public reading and discussion series based on five different books.  The overarching theme of the series will explore the interconnectedness of the different faiths and civilizations before the dawn of the modern age.

Books and supplemental materials for each discussion event are available free on a first-registered, first-served basis approximately 3 weeks before the date of the event to allow participants time to read the book.

The discussions are also open to anyone on a drop-in basis whether they read the book or not.

To register, stop by the Adult Reference Desk at HFCL.

For more information about the program, please call 313-943-2816.
