Hi Michelle! Yes, there are lots of quick-services restaurants in the parks that do not require a reservation. We love to try lots of different places. My biggest piece of advice regarding these locations is that you try to eat at off-times so that you are avoiding the mealtime rush. Try to eat lunch by 11:30am (of after 1:30pm). Try to eat dinner by 5:30pm (or after 7:30pm). Have a great time!!

ReplyJosh, I commend you for your work. As an ally, I am thankful that there are dedicated young people like you. Here's my advice, for what it's worth. There are people on the Patch (and on any online discussion forum) who enjoy provoking conflict while cowering behind anonymity. Ignore them. I believe that legitimate, constructive discussion comes only when both people know who they are talking to--and that is not what is happening here. Thanks again for sharing.

Theresa, I understand what you are saying. Like I said, I do not think that Jan intended to hurt anyone with her message. Nevertheless, when somebody goes on and on about how fortunate they are in the wake of such terrible tragedy (for whatever reason), it highlights how unfortunate other people were. I am so happy that she and her family are safe, but many others were not. I hear her message, but I'm also hearing the voices of other readers who are suggesting that this blog is a little insensitive to those who suffered, especially since this tragedy is still so fresh.

My reaction to this blog is not centered on whether God exists or not. It is centered on the appropriateness of writing this blog so soon after the bombings. A previous poster commented that this blog is insensitive to those who suffered tragic loss as a result of the bombings, and I agree. Feeling fortunate to escape unscathed is understandable, but this blog comes across as boastful (even though I'm sure the writer did not intend it in this way). Although she empathizes with those who suffered, she spends most of her blog reveling in her own fortune with seemingly little consideration for the feelings of less fortunate souls.

I've had some questions about how long Enchanted Tales with Belle actually takes. If you go during the recommended times, allow about 60 minutes from start to finish (the attraction itself is 25 minutes, and groups of 40-50 people are let in at 10-minute intervals, so expect to wait about 30 minutes before you get in). During busier times of the year (and non-recommended times of the day), allow 90 minutes total.
