ReplyI thin the teacher should still have the final answer in this. I understand if a kid struggles all year and is working to trying to do better and at the end of it all pulls through. That is different then a kid who takes the class only to not do any work and expect it to all get erased at the end.
All we do with policies like this is make it so kids have a harder expectation of what college is really lake. I can't test out in college (trust me I tried) and any job you go in to tell them you don't need to start at the bottom because you know what they do and see how well that work.
Teachers know kids potentials and therefor hold have the last say.

ReplyPam I be conserved about my truck too if someone beat it up as well. If she blew out the headlights he can't drive at night and maybe that's when he could go get the kid.
The point of this isn't that they can't commit. He clearly knew things with this women where off and well turns out he's right.
I hope he not only gets his kid out of this deal (if he doesn't all reay) and gets his car fixed. This is just a case of someone not being able to be a big girl and handle life.

ReplyOh corse they didn't agree. The reason why is clear because its not about them and how they can make money off the deal. The leadership of DPS and the city are crybabies when they can't get there way.
How bout this the mayor poneys up and just says your moving wether or not you agree and sell the building out from under them. I mean they all ready did that to city hall so what's the difference really.

I think this is good for the school and the mall area. For the city only time will tell, there are many bars and other places that could be revived based on new clients for sure.

ReplyI'm sure the easiest and best solution to this is let them all cheat, make the city look like where the best ever and then when they go to college wonder why our kids are getting thrown out for cheating...... oh wait i'm sorry, Academic Dishonesty because heaven forbid we call it what it is, theft.

ReplyOne thing that's confused me, is if the ADT building is so great, why doesn't art space want it?

ReplyYeah, I am not surprised at all, knowing how well our city handles racial and religious issues, this wouldn't come as a surprise to me if it was a high schooler from our city. Sad to say, i know......

ReplyI'm pretty sure that artspace would need the building in working order first before they took control of it. So that would mean a renovation of city hall and the adt building, but don't fear, if good old jack can tell us Camp Dearborn is profitable, this should be too.

ReplyIt be nice if that program around schools would also address parents who double park in the road and who park across my driveway so I can't get out in the morning and afternoon, but i guess I settle for them, picking off all the idiots who roll the stop in front of my house every day (I almost get hit 3 times a week)......I guess that's what i get for living one block away from a elementary school......

Perhaps not lying to your guest about not having a liquor license will bring more people back to guillo and sons. You know a small thing like that might help.
