Downriver Activism is who I am. My favorite subjects to write about (or have websites on) are mostly related to the Pro-Life movement, protecting life by working with Survival International, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Native Americans, Diabetes, Gluten Free and Organic Diets, and a few political viewpoints thrown in the pot.

I grew up in Wyandotte and although I've moved hither and yon, I've been back again for the last seventeen years. I'm not sure there ever was a time in my life that I wasn't an activist, always seeking out new causes to work for, to teach about, and to encourage people to "be part of the solution instead of part of the problem."

In college I took every subject I could when it came to anthropology and sociology - always wanting to know more about the study of "man". I've always been fascinated by various cultures around the world and have traveled around the globe to further understand various belief systems, ways of life, clothes, food, living conditions, and outlook on life.

Poetry runs in my family and three generations of us have had our poetry published both nationally and internationally, and I've always had a love of writing, but writing to teach and encourage others.
