If renting a movie is a part of your New Year's celebration, will your chosen flick be one of Redbox's favorites of the year? Redbox released its Favorite Movies of 2012 on Monday. In Dearborn, there are multiple Redbox locations: All locations are outdoors except Walmart, giving around-the-clock access.
Top new releases are available, along with popular family and children’s games, for $2 a night.
Gamers can now rent video games locally at all hours of the day and night. Redbox, the stand-alone kiosks at local retailers most known for their dollar-a-night movie rentals, now offer video games. Games cost $2 a day and can be reserved online for easy pickup at the nearest Redbox location. In Dearborn, there are currently seven Redbox locations: Kroger at at 23000 Michigan Ave., Kroger at 23303 Michigan Ave, Kroger at 15255 Michigan Ave., CVS at 22060 Outer Drive, CVS at 15325 Michigan Ave., Walgreens at 15450 Michigan Ave. and the Walmart at 5851 Mercury Drive. Enjoyed "Hope Springs", "Moonrise Kingdom," and "Brave," but really wouldn't care to see any of the others on this list except maybe "The Campaign." We see quite a few films at the theater and saw some excellent ones recently. The DVD I most enjoyed recently is an old indie that has held up really well over 20 years: "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." Watched it with my son and his wife, and there …   more ›
