5 Things to Do With Kids in Dearborn During Winter Break

Christmas is over, so now what?

Dearborn Public Schools aren't back in session until Jan. 7, so that means a whole two weeks of figuring out how to keep kids entertained. Here are some local suggestions. Winterfest activities continue through the break at the Henry Ford Centennial Library. Hosted in the Youth Services Department, the events run Dec. 26-28, plus Jan. 2-4. They include Wii Dance, Yarn Fest, Snowperson Ornaments, Collage Creations, Penguin Play and Origami Corner Bookmarks. There's no registration, but space is limited. Times for the activities vary, so visit the Youth Services Department webpage for more information. The Henry Ford will be open daily from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., including New Year's Eve and Day.
