Dearborn Soccer Invitational Celebrates 20 Years
Dearborn Soccer Club's annual tournament marks 20 years this weekend with three days of soccer.
Eighty-seven teams, 10 soccer fields and 20 years. Yep, that's the Dearborn Invitational. This weekend marks the 20-year anniversary of the Dearborn Invitational soccer tournament where 87 youth teams converged on the city for some end-of-the-summer competition. "It's all about the kids," Dearborn Soccer Club President Robert Cook said. "We just want them to get out and have a good time. The weather has been just great (this year); we couldn't ask for any better."
