WATCH: Dearborn Shelter Lets the Dogs Out for 100K Flash Mob
The animal shelter raise awareness of their efforts to win the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
Who let the dogs out? On Tuesday afternoon, it was the Dearborn Animal Shelter, which brought human and four-legged supporters to the steps of Dearborn City Hall for a "100K Flash Mob." The flash mob invited staff, supporters and volunteers of the shelter to help shine the spotlight on their attempts to win the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Rachael Ray $100K Challenge. Participants handed out 100 Grand candy bars, held up signs encouraging people to vote, and did their own rendition of "Who Let The Dogs Out?" The hope is that more visibility will lead to more votes in the national competition. The $100K Challenge is an opportunity for animal shelters across the country to save more lives and get rewarded for it…
