Pedestrian Hit, Killed Crossing Miller Road in Dearborn

WDIV reports that the driver did stop for the accident.

Update, 10 a.m. Jan. 11: Dearborn police have confirmed that a 33-year-old Dearborn man was hit by a vehicle while crossing Miller Road, south of Alber Street, at 6:05 p.m. Thursday. The Ford Winstar that hit him was driven by a 21-year-old Ypsilanti woman. The man was taken to Oakwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An investigation is continuing; however, the department said in a statement that "it appears at this time that the collision was accidental and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved." ---------------------------------------- A pedestrian crossing Miller Road beween Ford Road and Michigan Avenue was hit and killed Thursday evening.
