Dynasty Myles was last seen on New Year's Day near the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn.
More information was released Thursday in the case of a Detroit resident who went missing Jan. 1. According to the Dearborn Police Department, Dynasty Myles was last seen near 10 p.m. on New Year's Day near the Fairlane Town Center. The 23-year-old mother of a young child was reported missing by her family shortly after, and has still not been located. Police shared on Thursday that CCTV footage from the parking lot of the mall has been recovered. The footage shows Myles getting into what is believed to be a newer model silver or grey Dodge Durango, or a similar style vehicle, near the restaurant Benihana. Wyandotte police said they responded to a call from the Coast Guard at about 1 p.m. Friday and recovered the body of a black male near Hennepin Point in the Detroit River.
Wyandotte police are saying that they believe the body found in the Detroit River Friday was a missing Dearborn man. Police recovered the body of a black male from the Detroit River on Friday afternoon, the Wyandotte Police Department said in a statement. Wyandotte and Grosse Ile police responded to a call at about 1:30 p.m. Friday from the United States Coast Guard after a body was spotted near Hennepin Point in the Detroit River. The body was recovered and taken to the Wayne County Medical Office for identification. Clothing and other goods belonging to Ramas Paull McCrory were found near the Detroit River in Wyandotte on Saturday.
Wyandotte police continue their search for Ramas Paull McCrory after clothing and other items belonging to the Dearborn man were found abandoned near the Detroit River at the north end of Bishop Park on Saturday. The U.S. Coast Guard was called in to search the water on Saturday on the belief that a man had jumped into the river. After searching by boat and helicopter for four hours on Saturday, the Coast Guard called off the search when night set in. During the overnight hours, a Wyandotte police officer noticed a pick-up truck that had been parked in the area throughout the night. Family of a 52-year-old Dearborn man are asking for police and public assistance in locating their lost loved one. Dearborn resident Edward Mora was last seen at his home on July 22 at approximately 9 a.m. He is believed to have left in his vehicle, a 2000 maroon Dodge Stratus with Michigan license plate 2FJJ76. Dearborn police have put out a call for help from the community in locating Mora, and said that his family is "very concerned" about him.
