Dearborn Rep. George Darany Announces Reelection Campaign
The Dearborn resident and former City Councilman announced his 2012 run on Tuesday.
Dearborn state Rep. George T. Darany wants another two years. Darany, who won his seat in 2010 after serving on Dearborn City Council, announced Tuesday that he is running for reelection as state representative for Michigan’s 15th House District. The Democrat said his job serving Dearborn in the legislature is not done. "It’s unfortunate, but the middle class, our kids, and our seniors were forgotten during the last year and a half by the legislature,” Darany said in a statement. “We’ve seen a tax on our seniors, cuts to our classrooms, and unnecessary burdens placed on our working families through the reduction of the homestead property tax credit and the elimination of charitable tax credits - all to give large corporations a massive tax…

Darany is a decent man. Lastly it's not as if a state Rep does anything anyways. He is about the best you'll get out of Dearborn.   more ›
