Dearborn Man Charged with Murder in Detroit Gas Station Shooting

A Dearborn man faces a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of a man at a Detroit gas station on March 10, according to a release from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Gas station attendant Ibrahim Kassim Saleh, 23, of Dearborn, is charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm possession in the death of Michael A. Haynes, 24, of Detroit. Saleh is expected to be arraigned on the charges Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in 36th District Court. “The evidence in this case, by all accounts, illustrates how a seemingly random argument can escalate into needless loss of life,” Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L.
