Wyandotte eatery edges Miller's Bar and Howell's Bar and Grill for Food Fight honors.
To borrow a phrase from Family Feud, the survey says that Joe’s Hamburgers has the best hamburgers in Wayne County. Joe’s Hamburgers, which is located on Elm Street in Wyandotte, received 45 percent of the vote in the Food Fight poll. Miller’s Bar was in a close second with 38 percent of the vote, and Howell’s Bar and Grill was 16 percent. Voting took place from Wednesday morning until Friday at 5 p.m. Congratulations, Joe’s Hamburgers, and thank you to all who participated in the Food Fight by voting in the poll and leaving comments on the site. When Patch asked for people’s opinions on the best place for a burger in Wayne County, 63 readers responded. We listened, and you have told us your top three choices: Howell’s Bar and Grill, Joe’s Hamburgers and Miller’s Bar. Now we’re asking for a little more help to finish off this Food Fight. Who has the best hamburgers in Wayne County? That’s what we’d like to know this week in the latest edition of Food Fight, a new column on Patch that searches for the best places to eat in the area. Each week, we want your suggestions on the best restaurants, diners and cafes for pizza, barbecue, pasta and more. We want your vote and your opinions for the best entrees in the area. Voted for the Howell's burger as the others are not even in the same league. While Miller's may have been a heavyweight those days are long since gone. Frozen meat, substandard sides are far from their glory days. People vote Miller's out of nostalgia, even admitting that the quality has gone down.
