First Lady's Tea Benefits Dearborn Community Arts Council

The annual fundraiser will take place on May 11 and is open to the public.

Editor's note: This press release was submitted by the Dearborn Community Arts Council. The Dearborn Community Arts Council is accepting reservations for its annual "First Lady's Tea" honoring Christina O’Reilly on May 11. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course Clubhouse. The event, held on Mother’s Day weekend, traditionally sells out. Tickets are $35, with proceeds supporting the programs and activities of the Dearborn Community Arts Council and Dearborn Senior Services. Men and women are invited to attend the festivities. Tickets Still Available for Dearborn First Lady's Tea

The Dearborn Community Arts Council is hosting the first annual tea on May 12.

The Dearborn Community Arts Council is hosting the annual First Lady’s Tea at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course. First lady Christina O’Reilly of Dearborn will serve as the host. This year’s distinguished speaker will be Cathy O’Malley, general manager of Fairlane Town Center, sharing the latest exciting news regarding the “Fairlane” experience. Tables will be uniquely and artistically set by prominent members of the community and will be appropriate for a high tea luncheon. The event will also feature a “Teatimes Treasures auction.” On the menu are mimosas, and an assortment of fine teas complimented by a gourmet soup, Michigan salad, a selection of tea sandwiches, scones and muffins, fresh fruit and a buffet …
