Dearborn held its annual tree-lighting ceremony on Tuesday in conjunction with the Festival of Trees—a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Michigan. The event, attended by many residents of the Dearborn area, was held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. In addition to the tree lighting, it included crafts for kids, a chance to visit with Santa, a sing-along, and live performances by Dearborn youth. The City of Dearborn will get residents in the holiday spirit this week with the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Sing-Along at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, planned for 6-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The festivities are being held in conjunction with the Festival of Trees, which is a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
