Made in Dearborn: Locals Represent at Maker Faire This Weekend
Artists, tinkerers, inventors–and local to Dearborn. The Maker Faire takes place Saturday and Sunday at The Henry Ford.
Ever wonder what cool and unique things are coming out of Dearborn? Stop by the Maker Faire, happening this Saturday and Sunday in the parking lot of The Henry Ford. At this year's event, representation from the Dearborn area will come in the form of art, music, and inventions. A trio of Dearborn artists–husband and wife David and Theresa Smith, plus friend Bob Niemczewski–will be showcasing their unique 3D photography at this year's Maker Faire. This is David's third year at the annual festival of inventions, art and exploration. The trio's exhibit–3D Photography: Anaglyphs and Phantograms–winn include a variety of 3D images. To be honest, Phil, I didn't know it was happening until I drove down Telegraph today! We were never contacted by organizers about it, either.
