What makes Dearborn Heights Montessori Center different from other schools? According to Laura Springer, assistant head of school for Dearborn Heights Montessori Center, this is only one of several questions that prospective parents ask when they attend the school’s winter Open House event. This year’s DHMC Open House for prospective parents and students is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13. My daughter attended Montessori, both in Allen Pk, and Dbn hts, until the 8th grade, where she attended Dearborn. Some pluses and negs. Depends on the school. As parents, be prepared to be involved with your child's education. Montessori gave written weekly detailed reports of progress, issues, etc. Sports? Against other schools? Of course.
