The Dearborn Commission on Disability Concerns will meet 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. The center is located at 15801 Michigan Ave. The public is welcome to attend the meeting. The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss accessibility, new Americans with Disabilities Act regulations, voting sites, education and awareness. For information call 943-2789.

The Dearborn Commission on Disability Concerns met Tuesday evening at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
A swirl of topics–from how to handle cooking demonstrations to deciding to wait to name its leadership–were discussed at the Tuesday night meeting of the Dearborn Commission on Disability Concerns, held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. The commissioners, having previously made the decision to hold its Dearborn Disability Awareness Day in conjunction with the Senior Health Information Expo, agreed it will move ahead with plans to engage the Henry Ford Community College Culinary Program to demonstrate adaptive cooking methods, and how to use adaptive tools in the kitchen.
