Dearborn Youth Get Fit at HYPE with Help from National Grant
A $500 grant from United Healthcare helped to send kids from two Dearborn schools to HYPE's Get Fit New Me program.
When a great opportunity comes along, sometimes it takes a little grant money to get it going. Such was the case with the partnership between the Dearborn Academy, the West Village Academy, HYPE Athletics, and United Healthcare. Joanna Charara, the director for after school programming for both Dearborn-based schools, had been working with HYPE for several years.
