PHOTOS: Dearborn Students Run in Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet

Students from across Dearborn took part in the event at Ford Woods Park on Friday.

Students from across Dearborn took part in the Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet on Friday, Oct. 19, at Ford Woods Park. The meet honors former Dearborn Public Schools Business Services director Cipriano, who was killed in his Farmington Hills home in April. Cipriano's son, Tucker, is currently facing trial for the murder, as well as attacking other Cipriano family members. Cipriano was known for his love of running by district employees and friends—a love he had hoped to spread to Dearborn students by facilitating the creation of a running program for middle school and, if possible, elementary students.

Canton comes in fresh off a double-overtime 3-1 win over Novi High School on Saturday. The winner will advance to regional finals this Saturday at 1 p.m. Football Playoffs Two Dearborn varsity football teams made it to the playoffs this year–one with a comfortable 7-2 record and the other, with a skin-of-…
