Ford Field is one of nine large community parks in Dearborn. It is one of the most popular parks in the city,More especially during the winter; the large hill near the Cherry Hill entrance makes for one of the best sledding spots in town. The small creek running through the area makes it an excellent spot for scenic walks.

A full-size baseball diamond is also available for rental and league play, as well as a picnic shelter, capable of seating 125 people

Word of Faith Fellowship is a non-denominational, Bible-based faith church that "teaches the un-compromised word ofMore God." Established in the late 1970s by Pastor Anthony Buzzeo, its first services were held at Ford Field Park in West Dearborn. Word of Faith Fellowship has been at its current location since 1992. Services feature contemporary music, prayer and open worship by all. The church offers ministries for children from nursery school through high school, as well as groups for men, women and seniors. Word of Faith Fellowship's missionary work reaches those in need locally, nationally and worldwide, including support for an orphanage and school in Haiti.
