University of Michigan-Dearborn is a satellite school of the university's main campus in Ann Arbor. Founded in 1959More with grant money from Ford Motor Company, it boasts a College of Arts, Science and Letters, College of Engineering and Science, School of Education and College of Business, plus graduate degree programs.

Most students commute from nearby cities. There is a vibrant student life with more than 125 clubs and organizations, such as a campus newspaper, TV and radio station, student activities board and various ethnic and political clubs. School sports teams, including lacrosse, hockey and basketball, play as the Wolves.

The campus is home to the Henry Ford Estate, which was the original home of automotive pioneer Henry Ford and his wife Clara.
