Following a 4-12 finish to the 2012 season, the Detroit Lions have begun an important off-season in their development.
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Because of the fourth quarter success of this group, one could mistake this team as clutch. But in reality when the lights go on in the biggest games, the Lions are not up to the challenge yet.
No one has accused the Lions of being a first half team this season. One can only hope that the Lions will be a strong second half (of the season!) team.
With the schedule only getting harder the Lions need a serious jolt.
The Lions are about where everyone expected them to be after two games: 1-1, a .500 record.
The NFL preseason is behind us. Will the Lions make it to the playoffs?
With pre season game No. 2 in the books, attention is turning towards what the roster will look like come opening week.
