Holiday Fun This Weekend in Dearborn

Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village
-Greenfield Village is kicking off its Holiday Nights program series this Friday, Dec. 6, with a weekend-full of live entertainment, horse-drawn wagon and Model T rides, holiday shops, ice skating, Santa, live reindeer, a spectacular fireworks display and more. Tickets for museum members are $18.75 for adults and $13.50 for youth. Tickets for non-members are $22 for adults and $16 for youth. Toys for Tots at Moose's Martini Pub
-Moose's Martini Pub in west Dearborn is hosting a Toys for Tots event this Friday, Dec. 6. Guests are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy. The event starts at 8 p.m. For more information call (313) 730-1630.

Dearborn Goodfellows Paper Sales
-This weekend throughout the city of Dearborn you will see Dearborn Goodfellows volunteers on the streets and at local businesses selling the annual Dearborn Goodfellows paper. Help the volunteers to raise as much as possible to be sure no child goes without a Christmas. For more information visit www.dearborngoodfellows.org.

Victorian Christmas at the Dearborn Historical Museum
-The Dearborn Historical Museum is hosting a Victorian Christmas Open House on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Museum’s Commandant’s Quarters. The free event features Christmas music, decorations and refreshments. Children’s activities, including crafts, a visit with Santa, and a Santa’s Helper game will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Donations for the museum will be accepted on site. Holiday Show at the Glass Academy
-The Glass Academy in Dearborn is holding its annual holiday show this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7-8. This free, all-age event will feature live glassblowing demonstrations, as well as hand-crafted holiday glass items for sale.
