Ring of Honor Wrestling
This live event will feature Hamtramck resident Jimmy Jacobs up against the current Ring of Honor World Title champion Adam Cole. The fight will be held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online or at the door.
Ice Carving Invitational at Henry Ford Community College
HFCC is hosting it's third annual Richard Teeple Collegiate Ice Carving Invitational Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Student Parking Lot H. In addition to the ice carving competition, there will be artwork, food and entertainment booths for the general public. Admission is free. For more information visit http://ice.hfcc.edu/.
First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn to Host Free Craft Show
The First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn will host its second annual Holiday Galleria Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature crafters, vendors, artisans, a tin can raffle and a gourmet bake shop. Proceeds go to support local charities helping women and children in need.
Fall Harvest Hoedown in Livonia
The Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia is hosting a hoedown fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 16, for Justice For Our Neighbors of Southeastern Michigan, a nonprofit legal immigration services provider. The event will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature square dancing, food and fun for all ages. Admission is your donation.
Beautifully Wrapped: Headwrap Expo & Fashion Show
The Headwrap Expo brings together over 40 businesses/vendors, five fashion designers, and a host of stylists and cultural historians for a day of shopping, fashion, styling, cultural talks and more.
