New Vendor Keeps Jammin' at the Dearborn Farmers Market
Check out our Dearborn Farmers and Artisans Market vendor of the week!
Shannon Byrne is committed to Michigan. Thus, her company, Slow Jams Jam, features handmade jam with all local produce, sugar and herbs.
New to the scene, the Grosse Pointe-based company has quickly picked up steam since opening in 2011. They're now carried in a multitude of stores and restaurants, including Avalon International Breads in Detroit and The Henry Ford in Dearborn.
And they've ventured into several farmers markets this summer, including Grosse Pointe, Birmingham and Dearborn, where they've been present almost every week since the market opened in May.

"It's really great to get to have conversations and get to know people," Byrne said of their Dearborn Farmers Market debut. "We've really enjoyed it."
And so have their customers, noshing on unique flavors like Strawberry Balsamic, Raspberry Lemon Verbena, Blueberry Sage Peppercorn and Cranberry Red Onion. Yum!
