It's the true sign that summer is coming to an end in Dearborn.
After another season of swim lessons, pool parties and family times, Dearborn's community pools at and Parks will close for the season Sept. 4.
Until then, residents can get their last bit of summertime swimming in over Labor Day weekend.
Dunworth Memorial Pool and Ford Woods Pool will be open Thursday and Friday from 4-7 p.m., and Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day from 12-6 p.m.
Never got around to getting that swim tag? The daily admission fee is $8 for Dearborn residents and $10 for non-residents at Dunworth and $6 for residents and $9 for non-resident at Ford Woods. Proof of residency is required.
The weather will be perfect for swimming, too. Expect temperatures mostly in the 80s–peaking on Friday with an expected high of 95 degrees. A slight chance of rain will begin on Saturday, becoming more likely as isolated thunderstorms could hit Dearborn on Monday.
