How to Sign Up for Summer Swimming Lessons and Get Pool Tags in Dearborn

Swimming lessons will be offered by the Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department.

Dearborn-area youngsters can learn to swim this summer through swim lessons offered by the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department at the city’s outdoor pools.

Two-week sessions, in which classes meet Monday through Thursday for 30 minutes, are offered at each of the city’s outdoor pools June 16-26, June 30-July 10 and July 14-24.  

Dunworth Pool will offer a fourth session July 28-August 7.

Make-up classes, if required, will be conducted on Fridays.

The cost is $55 for Dearborn residents and $65 for non-residents.  All participants must also purchase a seasonal swim tag.

Tags for Dearborn residents, ages 17 and under, are $45.  Non-resident tags are $100. 

Swim lesson registration and pool tag sales are conducted at the service desk of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
