City of Dearborn Says 'Happy Fourth of July' With Extended Pool Hours

All community pools will be open until 8 p.m. on July 4.

The heat wave continues in southeast Michigan, but the City of Dearborn is hoping to help residents cool off on the Fourth of July.

The city announced Monday that it is extending the schedule of its outdoor pools by two hours on July 4. All will be open from 1-8 p.m.

Normal hours at 's Dunworth Memorial Pool are 1-8 p.m. on weekdays and holidays, and the other five’s usual daily hours are 1-6 p.m. They are , , , and pools.

Daily admission at Dunworth is $8 for residents, $12 for nonresidents. The other pools cost $6 for residents, $9 for nonresidents. Seasonal pool tags may also be purchased. Fees vary.
