Fordson advances in the football playoffs and volleyball teams start postseason play this week.

Football Playoffs

After beating in a , has advanced in the football playoffs.

The Tractors will play an away game against Detroit Cass Tech on Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. Cass Tech (7-3) comes in off of a 35-6 win against Livonia Churchill on Friday, while Fordson (6-4) is still without star player Michael Berry, who has missed several games with an arm injury.

The winner of this week's game will go on to play either Warren Mott or Warren De La Salle. The latter team earlier this season.

Volleyball Districts

Postseason play continues for Dearborn's high school volleyball teams, which play all week for a chance at regionals.

Dearborn High, Fordson and will all play at Allen Park against three other teams. The first round will take place Monday and Tuesday; district semifinals will happen Wednesday and Thursday; district finals will happen Friday and Saturday.

will also play this week at home against the Henry Ford Academy and five other local teams.
