Fordson Wrestlers Compete in State Finals

Two Tractors wrestlers headed to states Saturday.

Wrestlers competed in the Michigan High School Athletic Association state wrestling finals this weekend at the Palace of Auburn Hills, including two individuals from Fordson High School.

Senior Victor Lindsey competed at the 145-pound weight. He went down in his bout against Kevin Haughn of Port Huron Central High School, as well as against Thomas Garty of Davison.

Senior Yahya Talab lost to Johnny Bourcier of New Baltimore’s Anchor Bay in the first round of finals at the 160 weight. He also lost to Jacqwese Williams of Lansing Everett High School.
