Fordson Football Falls to Monroe

But Edsel Ford and Divine Child prevail in final week of regular season.

lost to Monroe 21-7 on Friday night in the final regular-season home game, according to the MHSAA.

Fordson finished the regular season with a 5-4 overall record.

Fordson needed a victory to qualify for the state playoffs.

Meanwhile, defeated Garden City 28-18. The Thunderbirds finished with a 4-5 overall record.

also prevailed in its finale, defeating Detroit Consortium 35-12. The Falcons are 4-4 overall.
