UM-Dearborn Students Receive Michigan Accountancy Foundation Scholarships

Monica Bailey and Josef Zenicki received $3,000 scholarships to help offset tuition costs.

The Michigan Accountancy Foundation (MAF), a non-profit organization that promotes excellence in accounting education, selected 17 Michigan college students as recipients of its annual MAF Fifth/Graduate Year Scholarship.

Each recipient will receive $3,000 to help fund their fifth/graduate year of college.  Several of the students received special-named scholarships.

Monica Bailey of Royal Oak and Josef Zenicki of Livonia, students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, were among the recipients.

MAF is affiliated with the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and assists accounting students by helping to fund their college education and by providing resources to college educators.
