Totis is Three Set Queen of Dearborn High

Dearborn High junior is 12-4 in her first year at the varsity level and going strong.

Olivia Totis is getting the job done for the Pioneers tennis team this season.

And then some.

The Pioneers' junior is the No. 3 singles player for Dearborn High and in her first year of varsity tennis, her current record stands at 12-4. She's been tough in and .

Totis' teammates have nicknamed her the "Three Set Queen" because six of her 16 matches have gone into a third set, with her winning each one.

"To have a player with Olivia's stamina, especially as the weather gets warmer, is a real asset to our team," Dearborn tennis coach Steve Behmlander said. "She is a very bright young lady and quickly catches on to and implements our game plan each match."

Totis is also a total team player.

"She is very personable and well-liked by her teammates," said Behmlander. "She goes about her match play very workmanlike. She gets out there and gets the job done, then cheers on the rest of her teammates."
