Support Pizza Days and Support Dearborn Public Schools

Every Wednesday in November, a purchase of pizza from local spots will help raise funds for the Dearborn Education Foundation.

Every Wednesday this month you eat pizza can be a day you support Dearborn Public Schools with the return of Pizza Days in Dearborn.

Hosted by the Dearborn Education Foundation–which raises and distributes funds to local schools throughout the year–Pizza Days support local pizzerias while raising awareness and money for the foundation. The concept is simple: Place an order with any participating pizzeria on Wednesdays in November and a portion of the funds will go to the foundation.

According to DEF Executive Director Eddie Fakhoury, it's a win-win for schools and small businesses.

“Small business owners are hit most in these economic conditions and their time and resources should be respected," Fakhoury said. "So last year we fortified a great tradition and it proved to be a great success. We hope it will continue to be for years to come.”
