Hundreds of Dearborn Students Run in Memory of Robert Cipriano

More than 800 students attended the annual Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet on Oct. 19.

Students and faculty from across Dearborn took part in the second annual Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet on Oct. 19 at Ford Field Park.

The event honored Cipriano, the former director of business services for Dearborn Public Schools who also oversaw athletics in the district. He was killed in his Farmington Hills home in 2012.

"Thanks to all the students and parents who came out despite the chilly temperatures and wet conditions to make the event a great success," said David Mustonen, communications director for Dearborn Public Schools.
