HFCC Seeks Community Input During Search for New President
Those interested in being on the search committee for a new leader for the Dearborn community college can submit a form to apply.
Henry Ford Community College, under the direction of the College’s Board of Directors, has begun the search for a new president.
This search will be national in scope and involve a diverse array of faculty, staff and trustees on the search committee as the institution seeks its next president, according to the school.
According to the HFCC Board of Trustees, the presidential search will be an open process that encourages and seeks input from HFCC students, faculty, administrators, staff and community members. Individuals interested in volunteering to serve on the search committee may download a form from HFCC's website and return it by Friday, Oct. 19. 4:30 p.m. to Dr. Cynthia Eschenburg, search liaison, via email at cmeschenburg@hfcc.edu, or via fax at 313-845-6427

HFCC will appoint the search committee Monday, Oct. 22.
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the college will hold information forums for specific groups on the following dates and times in the Forfa Auditorium in the Administrative Services and Conference Center on the main campus in Dearborn. The purpose of this forum is to obtain input from faculty, administrators, staff, students and the community regarding a new president for the college. Individuals may attend the following forums based on their relationship to HFCC.

- Community: 7:30-9 a.m.
- Faculty (full-time and adjunct): 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Support Staff & Exempt: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Cabinet Members: 2-3 p.m.
- Students: 3:30-5 p.m.
- Administrators: 5:30-7 p.m.
- Community: 7-9 p.m.
