Grden Gets Creative for Falcon Soccer

Divine Child junior uses speed and creativity to lead girls soccer team this season with seven goals and seven assists.

The combination of speed and creativity is deadly in soccer.

And Kristi Grden's got it.

The junior has scored seven goals and seven assists so far in the season and has already been named to the all-league team.

Grden has been a valuable member of the varsity team for three years, last year receiving all-state honorable mention.
 
"Kristi is a very dynamic front runner," Divine Child soccer coach Katie Rozum said.  "She creates many opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her speed has allowed her to get in behind every back line that we have played against."

The speedy forward also works hard on the pitch and at practice.

"Her work ethic is top-notch and she sets herself apart from others in that category," said Rozum. "She is a good teammate to have and is always looking to improve herself and her creativity up top."
