Henry Ford Community College Offers "Voting 101" for the community

Henry Ford Community College will offer four voter education sessions to help students and community members become informed voters as the 2012 Presidential Election draws near.

The League of Women Voters (www.lwv.org) will facilitate these sessions, which are open to HFCC students, faculty, staff, as well as members of the community. The sessions will take place in Room C-119 of the Student Center on the following dates:
·         Monday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m.;
·         Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 2:30 p.m.;
·         Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m.; and
·         Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m.

Attendance is free. Sessions will cover election procedures, how to complete a ballot, what to expect when going to the poll, key points of candidates and proposals/issues, the importance of voting and much more. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and clear up any confusion regarding the upcoming election.
