An Evening with Lt. Dan Choi

Lt. Dan Choi will visit the University of Michigan - Dearborn on Thursday, April 5 for a talk at 6 pm in the Borg-Warner Auditorium, located in the Institute for Advanced Vehicle Systems Building.  The lecture will be followed by a reception.

Lt. Choi, a West Point graduate and Iraq veteran fluent in Arabic, was honorably discharged in 2009 because he announced on TV that he was gay. As an advocate who helped successfully repeal "Don't Ask Don't Tell," Lt. Choi has fought for LGBTQ civil rights and Veteran's health issues.
