Enrollment Open for Dearborn Montessori Program

The program is hosted at Howe School, and applicants are chosen through a random lottery.

Enrollment is open for Dearborn Public Schools' Montessori program at , the district announced this week.

Parents living in the Dearborn Public Schools district interested in enrolling their child in the program can pick up application forms at the school, from the Student Services Office in the Administrative Service Center, or download the form from the Student Services section of the district website.

Howe School is located at 18000 Oakwood Blvd. in Dearborn, and the Administrative Service Center is located at 18700 Audette in Dearborn.

Registration for the 2012-13 school year will continue through the end of the day on April 2.

An admissions meeting will be held on April 16 in the board room at the Administrative Service Center to identify which applicants will be enrolled for the 2012-13 school year. Applicants will the chosen through a lottery, with preference given to siblings of children already in the program.

Howe's Montessori program serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
