Alliance Catholic Credit Union (ACCU) recently named Matthew Gaynor as a recipient of the 2013 “Make a Difference” scholarship program.
Matthew, a student at Sacred Heart School in Dearborn, was awarded a one-year educational scholarship in the amount of $250.
ACCU created the “Make a Difference” scholarship program to award educational scholarships to Catholic school families. Matthew was selected as a recipient based on his volunteer activities, a letter of recommendation and personal essay.
Matthew volunteers his time at Sacred Heart Church and Goodfellows. He also participates in service projects with his Boy Scout troop.
