ACCESS Congratulates New Dearborn School Board President Hussein Berry
Berry was elected to the board in 2009 and is currently serving his first term.
ACCESS is pleased to announce that Dearborn Public Schools appointed Hussein Berry as president of the Board of Education on Jan. 13.
Berry was elected to the board in 2009 and is currently serving his first term. In addition to his leadership role at Dearborn Public Schools, Berry is involved in numerous community service organizations that assist youth across southeast Michigan. He is also a real estate broker and a trustee on the Dearborn Area Board of Realtors.
A lifelong resident of Dearborn, Berry serves on the ACCESS board of directors, is one of the founding members of the Dearborn Youth Football Association and currently serves as the association’s chairman. He is also a member of the Dearborn Goodfellows.
“ACCESS would like to congratulate Hussein on his recent appointment as board
president for Dearborn Schools," said Hassan Jaber, ACCESS executive director. "We are very proud of the work that he’s done to assist, improve and empower the youth in our community.”
Berry will serve as president of the school board until January 2015.
