Dearborn Charter President of the National Association of Professional Women Commemorates Women's History Month

The month of March marks International Women's Day and Women's History Month.

As we commemorate Women's History Month and International Women’s day, Happy Women’s Day is in order to all women around the world who are relentlessly struggling every day by wearing many hats as mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, caregivers, producers, motivators, problem solvers and much more! Your endless contribution to humanity should be recognized and celebrated every day. It is the main engine that energizes families, communities and societies.

Today, as women leaders are being recognized for outstanding achievements they deserve, millions of other women around the Globe are still victims to physical and psychological harm, sexual harassment, and exploitation. Governments' laws, poverty, traditions, cultures, religious extremism, lack of education, and deprived opportunities in many societies continue to hinder women’s rights and unable them to live in dignity! Let us all, men and women, salute all women on this special day! Let us advocate women’s rights, and take part in stopping the exploitation and abuse of women.
