What's Open and What's Closed in Dearborn on Good Friday and Easter

Dearborn City Hall, 19th District Court and all branches of the Dearborn Public Library will be closed on Good Friday.

A news release from the city of Dearborn:

Dearborn City Hall, the 19th District Court and all branches of the Dearborn Public Library will be closed in honor of Good Friday on April 18, 2014.

All libraries will remain closed through Easter, and will reopen Monday, April 21.

The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave., will be open on April 18 from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., its normal schedule. However, the Senior Center will be closed.

The Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC), 14900 Ford Road, will have open skating from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. For more information on ice time availability, call 943-4098.

The DISC and The Center will be closed on Easter, April 20.

The Department of Public Works Yard will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 for monthly disposal of items not picked up at the curb. For questions about whether materials are acceptable for disposal or not, please call DPW at 943-2085.

Trash and recycling pick-up in the City will be on its regular schedule for Good Friday, April 18.
