Water Main Installation, Resurfacing Begin on Schaefer Road
Schaefer Road will be open until construction is completed in September, but lanes will be affected.
Schaefer Road in Dearborn will be under construction from Ford Road north to Warren Avenue now until the end of September.
The road will remain open, but traffic lanes will be affected, Dearborn city officials said in a news release.
Traffic shifted Monday to the east half of Schaefer Road and is limited to one lane in each direction. No left turns are allowed from Schaefer. The project involves the installation of a water main and the resurfacing of Schaefer.
