UPDATE: Remaining City Budget Meetings, Public Hearing Dates Set

Dearborn city budget discussions will continue through the end of May, with a public hearing and budget adoption date to be held in early June.

Remaining dates for Dearborn's city have been set, as well as the official public hearing and budget adoption meeting.

Here are the upcoming dates, times and locations:

  • Budget hearing; Tuesday, May 24 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Budget hearing; Wednesday, May 25 at 6 p.m.
  • Public hearing for proposed budget; Monday, June 6 at 6 p.m.
  • Budget adoption; Tuesday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m.

All budget hearings will be held in the Mayor's Conference Room at . The public hearing and budget adoption will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

The topic for the May 24 meeting is police and fire, while the May 25 meeting will cover the historical museum, intergovernmental cooperation and pending tax cases.

All meetings are open to attendance and commentary from the public. Budget session attendance, however, will be limited by space constraints.
