CSO Open House

Hosted by the city, his open house will showcase the plans for the restoration of the floodplain and wetlands associated with the Combined Sewer Overflow site.

Public tours of the CSO control facility will be offered and exhibits will explain the environmental benefits of the project.

There also will be a short program at 10 a.m. about the importance of the CSO project in controlling pollution in the Rouge River and improving the natural habitat in and around the waterway.

Participants will include government, agency and community partners who have contributed to the pollution control project and restoration of the natural habitat.

Cider and donuts will be offered.
