Dearborn Senator Introduced 2 Pieces of Legislation in 2012

Here's a look at initiatives spearheaded by legislator Sen. Morris Hood over the past year.

Sen. Morris Hood, who represents Dearborn, introduced two pieces of legislation in the state Senate in 2012. He also introduced two amendments during the year.

Hood—whose district covers Dearborn, River Rouge and part of Detroit—is up for reelection in 2013. He has served District 3 for six years as senator.

Amendments

Sen. Hood was absent for 113 of the Senate's 1,912 votes in 2012. Two senators—Republicans Joe Hune and Torry Rocca—had perfect voting records for the year.
