Dearborn Public Service Days Begin April 1

Residents should keep parked cars off the street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for street sweeping and tree trimming.

Public Service Days in Dearborn will start again the week of April 1, and last through Nov. 30.

During Public Service Days, the city provides services, such as street sweeping, tree trimming, and sewer maintenance in neighborhoods. To ensure these services are provided in a safe manner, residents should not park vehicles on the street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on trash day.

Vehicles parked on the street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be ticketed.

Residents are also prohibited from parking vehicles across the sidewalk or on the home's easement or lawn.

Trash and recycle carts and yard waste containers should be placed at the curb on the property easement on Public Service Day.

Parking exemption applications are available at http://www.cityofdearborn.org/city-departments/public-works/public-service-days. Exemption applications may also be picked up at the front desk at the Dearborn Police Station, 16099 Michigan Ave.
